Classification of inflationary Einstein-scalar-field models via catastrophe theory.

چکیده
Various scenarios of the initial inflation of the universe are distinguished by the choice of a scalar field potential U(φ) which simulates a temporarily non–vanishing cosmological term. Our new method, which involves a reparametrization in terms of the Hubble expansion parameter H, provides a classification of allowed inflationary potentials and of the stability of the critical points. It is broad enough to embody all known exact solutions involving one scalar field as special cases. Inflation corresponds to the evolution of critical points of some catastrophe manifold. The coalescence of its nondegenerate critical points with the creation of a degenerate critical point corresponds the reheating phase of the universe. This is illustrated by several examples. Constraints on inflation in the Einstein-Brans-Dicke frame
The successful explanation of cosmological puzzles, such as the horizon, flatness, and monopole problems, is achieved by the inflationary scenarios. The inflationary scenarios also predict the spectrum of the density perturbation which seeds the formation of the large scale structure of the Universe. The basic assumption is that, at the early times, the Universe experienced an accelerated expan...

In this paper, the effective field theory for the anisotropic inflationary universe in Weinberg's approach is studied. We consider the leading correction terms to the standard interactions in the anisotropic inflationary models. These consist of forth derivative of the fields, scalar field, gauge field and metric. Then, the scalar power spectrum is investigated in the presence of higher energy ...

Article history: Received 27 May 2014 Accepted 17 April 2015 Available online 20 April 2015 Editor: S. Dodelson We examine the role of using symmetry and effective field theory in inflationary model building. We describe the standard formulation of starting with an approximate shift symmetry for a scalar field, and then introducing corrections systematically in order to maintain control over th...
متن کاملHow S-S’ di Quark Pairs Signify an Einstein Constant Dominated Cosmology, and Lead to New Inflationary Cosmology Physics
We review the results of a model of how nucleation of a new universe occurs, assuming a di quark identification for soliton-anti soliton constituent parts of a scalar field. Initially, we employ a false vacuum potential system; however, when cosmological expansion is dominated by the Einstein cosmological constant at the end of chaotic inflation, the initial di quark scalar field is not consist...
متن کاملPrimordial Non-Gaussianities of General Multiple Field Inflation
We perform a general study of the primordial scalar non-Gaussianities in multi-field inflationary models in Einstein gravity. We consider models governed by a Lagrangian which is a general function of the scalar fields and their first-order spacetime derivatives. We use δN formalism to relate scalar fields and the curvature perturbations. We calculate the explicit cubic-order perturbative actio...
